Provincial government subsidies
The Quebec government's program is called Roulez Vert. It encourages Quebecers to acquire an electric car (new or used) and to install a charging station. The subsidies offered by the Roulez Vert program is as follows:
Purchase or lease of an electric car
- For the purchase or lease of an electric car, you can get a rebate of up to 7 000$,
- For the purchase of a 100% electric used car, you can get a rebate of up to 3 500$.
Installation of a charging station
- For the installation of a charging station in your home, you can request a rebate of up to 600$,
- For the installation of a charging station in a business location or multi-unit building, the rebate can total up to 5 000$ per station. In the case of multi-unit buildings, the provincial government may also provide financial assistance for the installation of a charging station.
